Craft Academy is building an online community for artists, crafters, and handmade business owners who can benefit from each other’s shared knowledge.

Each month, Craft Academy will post useful business tips to help you grow your business. You will also have access to a member forum where members can share experiences and ask for advice for their creative business. Other than being an artist, crafter, or handmade business owner and the $20 yearly fee, we have no membership requirements.

Craft Academy is not designed for import sellers or direct salespersons such as Scentsy, MaryKay, Avon, etc.

Mentorship Program
Stellar is our intensive 6-month long mentorship program that runs from February 11th to July 29th. It focuses on weekly lessons, each covering a topic important to the growth of your creative business. Some of the upcoming lessons include:

Mixers, In-Person Workshops, & Craft Socials

For our Austin-area members, we will host mixers every other month that are open to the creative public. This will give you a chance to mix and mingle with other creative types in the area and possibly make new friends!

We will also offer monthly craft workshops coordinated by Melissa of Meow Kapow and often hosted by Katie Cowden. That’s not all! We will also host creative business in-person workshops coordinated by Melissa and Renée.

Each workshop will require a registration fee based on materials and topics.

Business Tips & Forum

Working in a creative field is not easy. You are often misunderstood and your products taken for granted. This is your place to share with like-minded creatives such as yourself. Every month, you'll receive helpful information aimed at growing your business. You'll also have access to our member forum, where you can share ideas and ask questions.

Every other month we'll host an in-person mixer in the Austin area for you to meet and mingle with people who are creative, just like you!
